Description

Bright, ground floor suite with beautiful views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Main room has over 300 square feet of space to relax after an adventurous day in the park. This is a prime location, perched up on the slopes of the Pyramid Bench. (Please read “other things to note” below) The space ADDRESS: 1203 Cabin Creek Drive. Situated steps away from the Pyramid Bench trail system and walking distance (1.6 km) to Jasper's "downtown" core. The entire suite is yours alone. Private entry through the main door, with a lock code. The suite is large, comfortable and recently renovated. Private bathroom with double sinks and shower (no tub). Queen bed, fireplace, TV/cable and charging stations. Quaint kitchenette with fridge (no freezer), microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishes and cutlery. Eating area with table and a cozy couch. Picnic table in the front yard, for summertime use. Portable grill can be set up- just let us know! Suitable for a single individual, or a couple. We are also open to couples with an infant (we have a porta-crib). No pets or smoking please. We love critters, but some of us have allergies :( Three-night minimum stay in high season(May-Sept). Two-night minimum otherwise. Guest access The entire main floor is yours to use (with the exception of the furnace room and a closet)! One parking stall in the driveway is set aside for guests. Other things to note On July 24, 2024, a wildfire destroyed ~360 structures in and around the town of Jasper. The fire covered over 33,000 ha of the National Park. The views have changed, and for many, it will take some getting used to. In some ways, the landscape has a new beauty. By some stroke of luck, our home was only slightly damaged. The inside living spaces have been cleaned and, after 3.5 months, the suite is ready to welcome visitors. Homes across the street have been burned, however houses on either side of us stand, as does the forest behind. The Town and Park have opened a number of facilities and day use areas. To find out what is open, please visit the Municipality of Jasper website. Alternatively, the Jasper National Park website has updated information on trails and recreational activities. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions. We are always happy to help. And thank you for supporting our town. Marci and Steve
