Description
Take it easy in this cozy cabin retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains. 30 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and beaches. This charming 400 sq. ft. studio is the perfect setting to disconnect from city life and immerse yourself in the redwoods. The cabin features a queen bed, full bathroom, kitchen & BBQ. The private yard includes a hot tub, propane firepit and hammock to fully relax and unwind. Please note the cabin is on a one way, windy road. There is WiFi but no TV or A/C. SCC Permit# 241449 The space The Living Space: Our cozy, thoughtfully designed studio features a comfortable queen-sized bed, sitting area with electric fireplace, and a dining space. The Kitchen: Enjoy your morning coffee with the Nespresso machine or tea with the kettle, and for cooking, the kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, a 2-burner stovetop and a microwave/convection oven combo. The basics including S&P, olive oil, cream and sugar are all provided. The Balcony: This quaint space off the kitchen provides a sitting bench and a propane BBQ with views of the redwoods. The Yard: Step outside to your own private paradise! The yard features a propane firepit, Adirondack chairs, a hot tub and a hammock for lounging amidst the redwoods. Entertainment: While there isn't a TV, we've provided a record player (with bluetooth), vinyl collection, games and books to set the perfect ambiance. You'll also have access to high speed wifi. The Roads and Driveway: It's important to note this is a rural retreat and the roads to access the cabin are narrow (one-way) and steep. Most cars are able to navigate this without issue but please be aware and make sure to check all direction information before arrival for the best possible experience. The cabin is heated but it does not have A/C, in the summer there is portable fan. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire cabin and yard. Other things to note Limited cell reception and a small one-way, windy road to get there so we recommend arriving during the daytime, if possible. There is parking for one car only. Because you're off the beaten path, it's difficult for Ubers or Lyfts to pick up from this location, a car is needed to access. It does rain here quite a bit in the winter and with those storms can come power outages. In case of an outage, the heat will still work and there is provided battery powered lights.
