Alder Cove is a new, thoughtfully-designed lakeside cabin tucked into the old-growth canopy and lush native plants. Large windows adorn every room allowing the shimmering lake and natural light into every space. Start your day with a sauna and swim or a hot outdoor shower. Drink a coffee, relax in the Adirondack chairs, and listen to the birds. At night you can grill and cozy-up to the fire pit. For the rainy days, stay warm with the deep couch, wood stove, and extra blankets. The space Alder Cove is a newly constructed, lakefront cabin on the quiet shores of Lake Josephine - a non-motorized lake on Anderson Island. It’s perfect for families, a romantic getaway, remote work, or a quiet solo fishing trip. You can choose your own adventure: clam digging and mushroom foraging, or explore the island by paddle, peddle, or foot. You can go for a sunset canoe ride and catch a rainbow trout or a swim off the dock. Bring your hiking shoes and go for a shoreline picnic - forage wild sea beans and blackberries on your way. In the winter, warm up by the wood stove or do a hot/cold session with the sauna and the lake. There is something for everyone at Alder Cove. Guest access Whole house.
