Casa in Realdo

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Small house in the tiny village of Realdo. Swim in the river, eat from our vegetable patch. Enjoy the beauty of the mountains surrounded by history and nature. In the village we have a bar and restaurant, and each weekend the local farmers visit with cheese, dairy, fruit and veg to sell. The hiking, mountain biking and moto riding in the mountains above and valley below the house are all world class. The space The house has two double bedrooms, a sitting room (with single sofa bed), kitchen and bathroom. We have ultra fast wifi should you need to work from here. The heating is via the log burner, and we can supply firewood for your stay. Below the house we have 10 terraces planted with various veggies, there is always something delicious ready to harvest and you can help yourself to what you need. By the front door we have a beautiful small piazza (square) with table and chairs for enjoying food and drink outside. It is our home so one room is locked and we keep our personal items there while you stay. Guest access The village has a small car park by the bar and restaurant and the house is in the middle of a historic village so you will need to navigate cobbled alleys and steps to access the house. We will show you the route when you arrive. Realdo is about 20 mins drive from Triora, our nearest village with a shop. So you will most likely need a bike or car to visit Realdo. There is a regular bus from Triora to Taggia on the coast, with rail links to nearby Genova, Nice and beyond.
