Welcome to Chez Gaétan, for the solo traveler, I offer a small bedroom with a single, cozy and very comfortable bed on the floor of the house I live in. If you're passing through and don't want to pay too much, this room will be perfect for you. You have a folding table in the room to easily do teleworking. With access to the spa and pool in summer, it will certainly be the perfect place to stop and relax in Oka. There's a ferry!!! The space The small yellow room is on the second floor of the house I live in. It is located right next to the upstairs bathroom. The shower is on the first floor. Bedding and towels are provided as well as a Keurig machine offering different hot drinks and some treats to enhance your stay. Coffee cream in my fridge. For those who have teleworking to do, you can easily settle in my sun-drenched dining room or enjoy a small table that you can set up in your room to be in your bubble. Note that Oka is on the shores of Lac des Deux-Montagnes and that a ferry must be used during the summer period to get to Vaudreuil, for example. You have access to the hot tub and pool in summer. For those who do not have a car and want to enjoy the countryside and the calm of Chez Gaétan, I can also pick you up at the Deux-Montagnes REM station or at the St-Eustache bus terminal to make a wonderful weekend getaway possible to relax and breathe in the countryside. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access You can easily use my fully equipped kitchen to make yourself a meal. Open the cabinets! If you take my food or condiments in large quantities, plan to replace or leave a tip. Thank you. The idea is that you have a nice stay without any hassle. In the small bedroom, there is the possibility of putting a small table for work at ease. During your stay I am jovial by nature, and I like to chat with guests. As I often say, I don't rent rooms, I offer a welcome... That's the difference in order to feel good at home. Other things to note Note that this is a non-smoking house, but it is easily possible to smoke on the patio. You have access to the hot tub, but you are not allowed to put products in the hot tub. The water is perfectly calibrated by myself. If I have to empty the hot tub, a fee of $100 will be charged.
