With six charming wildlife themed cabins encircling a shared fire-pit, picnic tables, volleyball, horse shoes, and grilling, it’s the perfect place for a couple, family, or group retreat nestled on a private 40-acre paradise. Want to venture out with family and friends, but still have your private space? This retreat is perfect for you. It also features two ponds, multiple picnic areas, a serenity hammock garden, a chicken coop where you can watch the chickens, and a seasonal garden that you’re welcome to pick as many vegetables and herbs as you like or simply sit and relax on the deck or around the campfire. Twice Is Nice is truly a unique experience in itself, but also only short drives to whitewater rafting, the Hiwassee River, hiking trails, underground caverns, scenic railroad rides, and waterfall trails for mountain, hiking and biking. The community: Skip the tourist trap and get the best of mountain life right here at our nature lovers’ paradise. We are located close to the Hiwassee River, Cherokee National Forest, Tellico, Plains, Cherohala Skyway, Ocoee River, Maryville, and Townsend. There are plenty things to do like hiking, biking, motorcycle rides, ride in air glider, tubing, white water rafting, trout fishing, and more. In Tellico Plains, you’ll find restaurants, a bakery, antique shops, and fishing gear year-round with great fishing. The Ocoee River played host to the 1996 Olympics Whitewater rafting and kayak competitions. It’s level three and four rafting and just a short drive that provides awesome family or business trip fun on warm days. Tellico Plains and the Hiawassee River, what’s level one airfield kayaks and rafts are also available for rent a short driveway. This is a place to get away from the routine, with many hikes and mountain bike trails nearby Cherokee national Forest. Just across from the cabins, you'll find a shared grilling area, shared firepit area, volleyball, and horse shoes. Hike down to the ‘beaver pond” and have a picknick beside the water. Stroll on down past the “beaver pond” to the serenity hammock garden and relax in a hammock hung between beautiful trees. Feel free to explore the space or bring your own cornhole, Frisbees, football, etc. Other things to note This property features six cabins that can accommodate up to 30 guests at a time.
