The space This is a comfortable 1950’s cabin with a bedroom and sleeping loft upstairs and a full kitchen, bath, living room, dining room, bedroom and sitting room on the main floor. Come visit with the whole crew - friends, parents, kids, grandparents and even your dog is welcome here! With Mini-Spit heat and A/C, you can control your comfort year round in every sleeping space. There is a free standing gas heating stove in the living room, conveniently controlled by a wall timer. No wood or pellets to haul! The huge gated deck allows for 3 season outdoor living with a fire pit, comfy couch, sun and shady spots to curl up and read, gas grill and an outdoor table. Play corn hole or ladder ball, or do a puzzle out on the table. Are you a coffee snob? We have a 12 cup basket brewer, french press, Nespresso/K-Cup machine, milk frother and grinder just for you! And the comfiest chairs to curl up in inside or outside to enjoy your morning Joe. Curl up in the cozy sitting room with a soft throw on your lap and check out some of our local books. We have bird watching, hiking guides, area history and a selection of books from local authors. The kitchen is well stocked by two people who love to cook and entertain, there's a crock pot and even an ice cream maker. Check in with your hosts before you pack, if we own it, we'll share it! We provide a J1772 electric vehicle (EV) charger and for Tesla drivers, bring your adapter or we can loan you one. This is a cozy and very comfortable home just off Highway 108. You are certain to enjoy your stay! We have been superhosts for over 5 years, and love to take care of our guests. We live locally and are happy to share our favorite local businesses and area tips. Guest access You have full access to the home. There is a locked shed (where we store seasonal things) and a locked closet by the front door where our housekeepers store refills, linens, cleaning supplies, and such. A Note About Nature 🐾 Our cabin is located in a beautiful wooded area, which means you're likely to spot some local wildlife during your stay—it's part of the charm! For the safety of everyone (including the animals), please don’t feed the wildlife. Secure all food indoors or in your car, and always use the provided animal-resistant trash can. We also have regular pest management in place to help keep outdoor critters from making themselves too comfortable inside. That said, nature can be persistent! If you encounter any unexpected visitors, we’re happy to help steer them back outdoors or provide traps if needed. Thanks for helping us keep the wilderness wild and the cabin cozy!
