Stand-Alone Guesthouse: The Happy Hen Casita

Located at the S202 freeway, next to Discovery Park, Mercy Gilbert Hospital, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Gilbert) Temple, and the SanTan Village mall. Our historic farm neighborhood has a variety of homes, on acreage. Our casita is separated by a courtyard from our home; you have a private entrance through guesthouse garage. We share our yard with chickens who tend to cluck and sing during the day as they free-range around our yard so you will likely see or hear them. The space KITCHEN: Fully equipped with new appliances including a stainless steel oven+stove (induction) and dishwasher. Full fridge/freezer with ice maker. Microwave, toaster, Keurig tea/beverage/coffee maker with a variety of pods. All cooking basics, dishware, flatware, and glassware is included. Please ask if you need additional spices or items, as we are happy to help! PRIVATE ENTRY BATHROOMS: A powder room in front area/great room and the 2nd bathroom is a full bath with shower (no tub). It connects both bedrooms ("Jack and Jill" style bathroom). It includes double sinks, lots of counter, a hair dryer and all linens. Basic toiletry items are also provided. All doors lock for privacy. BEDROOMS: Closets and drawers for your belongings Bedroom 1: King bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed, desk GENERAL: Free high-speed WiFi, smart TV with cable, central cooling and heating, keyless entry, exterior security cameras. Free use of washer and dryer. NOTE: We have chickens so guest house rental is indoor areas only. The garden and backyard and coop areas are private. Our chickens free-range and cluck and sing happily, but we have no roosters! PARKING: Two spaces in the front driveway. RV parking may be available for an additional fee. Guest access All interior areas of the guest house are available to you! Both bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, living room, pool table/ping pong table. The laundry area is available to you in the guest house garage which also has owner storage (no parking in garage but parking is in the driveway immediately in front of your garage). The easiest entry is per the code at the garage, right in front of your parking spot. You may enter and exit through this garage area using the keypad entry for your entire visit (set to your personal code we provide). The backyard is not available for guests, but our chickens will be freely wandering from the yard to the gated walkway and courtyard, so we ask that you keep all gates and doors closed. Thank you! They tend to cluck and sing during the day as they free-range around our yard so you may see or hear them out there, living their best life! Have an important call or meeting? Let us know! During the day we may mow the acre or have other farm chores or yard work that might make noise but we are happy to rearrange loud activities if we can!
