This cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty, making it an ideal getaway for those looking to relax and reconnect with nature. With 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room, a loft, and a peaceful back deck, it’s perfect for relaxing or exploring Red River Gorge. Step inside and you'll find a warm and inviting space, thoughtfully decorated to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The cabin's standout feature is its covered deck, providing a serene space to enjoy the breathtaking surroundings, rain or shine. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the deck offers a peaceful spot to take in the beauty of the gorge. You will also discover a fire pit area, perfect for gathering around with family and friends...and ideal for s’mores and stargazing! Share stories, roast marshmallows, and create lasting memories under the starry night sky. The fire pit adds a touch of rustic charm and warmth to your outdoor experience. Our cabin also features a hammock just begging to be rested in! Experience the beauty and serenity of Red River Gorge from the Hemlock Hideaway. We look forward to hosting you and helping you create unforgettable memories! - 2 miles to the Gorge Underground - 3 miles to the Miguel's Pizza, Red River Rockhouse, Natural Bridge State Park and Daniel Boone Coffee Shop - 4 miles to Skybridge Station and the entrance to the Gorge’s Scenic Loop - 5 miles to the Zipline and Red Point BBQ The main level has a large full kitchen with island, spacious living room, 2 queen bedrooms, full bath and washer & dryer. The spacious loft area has a sofa, full bed, 1/2 bath and 3rd bedroom with a queen bed. The large back porch has expansive views of the forest valley below. A note about accessing our cabin: The cabin is located on a maintained gravel road. 4WD is not necessary. The are 2 hills, just maintain speed and you'll have no problem. There is only one small section that is sometimes a little bumpy after heavy rain seasons. A note about Hemlock Hideaway's Water: Water is provided by truck delivery to a cistern. The water is recommended for bathing and cooking, but not recommended for drinking. We provide one 5 gallon jug of drinking water for your stay, but please plan to bring more if you think you will need it. **************NOTES************** Linens are always provided for this cabin. We will provide pillows, blankets, bedsheets and bath towels. We will also provide kitchen towels, toilet paper, hand and dish soap. Firewood is also available upon request. For $25 we will deliver firewood to your fire pit. Please be sure to mark on your reservation if you would like firewood delivery. Please be sure to put out all fires COMPLETELY when you are finished.
