“Wild Woman” The Houseboat

My goal is to offer a unique place to make memories, reconnect, and focus on what matters—laughter and love. On Blackwater Bay at Ol’ Nichols Landing Marina, once home to Nichols Seafood, the setting has a down-home southern vibe. Nothing fancy, just comfortable. Neighbors wave, kayaks are ready for the canal, and you’re welcome to bring your boat and fishing poles—there’s a launch and trailer parking. The space The Wild Woman houseboat offers a cozy getaway for two adults. Docked at Ol’ Nichols Landing Marina on Blackwater Bay, it’s best suited for guests in good physical condition and NOT recommended for children or those with mobility limitations. Inside, you’ll find a queen bed, small fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom for nighttime use. Full restroom and shower facilities are available steps away in the Pirate Den, a shared open-air space with coffee, water, and local recommendations. Enjoy shaded outdoor seating, a charcoal grill, fishing from the seawall, or a paddle in the kayaks. Boat launch and trailer parking are available if you bring your own vessel. Please note: mosquitoes can appear around sunset—bring spray. A signed liability waiver is required for all guests. Guest access Guests are welcome to access all areas of the marina except the workshop. Ol’ Nichols Landing is an active, working marina, and the workshop is reserved for boat owners, members, and staff who may be performing maintenance. For safety reasons, please do not enter this building. Parking for guests without boat trailers is available in front of the Pirate Den, near the houseboat. Parking for guests with trailers is located next to the boat launch. Other things to note The houseboat remains securely docked throughout your stay and is not available for excursions. For safety, a liability waiver must be signed by each guest before entering the marina and boarding, as boats and waterways carry inherent risks.
