Nido is built on a high in the middle of the vegetation, beyond the treetops the view extends hundreds of kilometers to several municipalities that are illuminated in the distance at night and in the mornings and clear afternoons you can see the summit of the Nevado del Ruíz. It is a wooden construction, very cool in summer and warm in winter. Ideal hideaway to escape the routine and return to the basics. The space It has a cozy balcony with canvas armchairs to relax in the middle of the exuberant forest, a panoramic shower to revitalize yourself, and a giant window so you don't miss the best moments of dusk and dawn from the comfort of your bed. Guest access Many say that our food is delicious, hence we want more people to enjoy the flavors of the Monte. In our restaurant El Gorgojo (old cattle trough) you will find gourmet, signature cuisine, a fusion of ingredients (from the Monte's and the neighbors' gardens) with slow preparations that include marinated, smoked meats, fruit molasses and vegetables roasted in wood, to achieve an explosion of flavors and energy recharge that stimulates all your senses. Imagine the old tank where cattle drank water on an old farm... now imagine it with a terrace around it and some other adjustments to turn it into our El Ahogado Aquatic Simplejo. Ah! Also imagine that right in front of that Aquatic Simplejo, you can see the Los Nevados National Park... yes!... the entire Los Nevados National Park! Conclusion: You can bring the chingue to the Monte. For those who like hiking, flowers and lush vegetation, walking around watching birds and the occasional lizard, El Monte has two options for walking: One is The Walk through the Clouds... there is no other description, you can ascend to the clouds... The extensive landscape includes hamlets, villages, rivers, cities, mountains and of course... Clouds of many forms to identify.  Now, if you like to rock in a hammock to the sound of the majestic symphony of hundreds of birds around you, we have the space for you to come and enjoy it, "Las hamacas del Guayabo", you can also take your armchair and sit in the "Mirador del Fuego" viewpoint to enjoy the immensity of the sky, the show of the Circo de los Hermanos Pollo and if you dare to have a good time in a tinder light (Campfire with wine and snacks for an additional fee). You can also take guided tours for an additional fee such as the coffee tour, where you can appreciate the process of the bean from the plant to the cup, or you can also walk among the mountains accompanied by a farmer from the sector. Other things to note To make your contact with nature complete, the cabin does not have electricity or hot water, but it will have lamps that generate a great light sensation and minimal impact; in the Gorgojo you will find an electrical connection to recharge your equipment.
