The space The main living space is surrounded by the treetops of the jungle with small slivers of the ocean visible through the trees . A high speed ceiling fan helps keep you cool during hot days or evenings. The enclosed bedroom (with ceiling fan and available air conditioning) provides solitude -- or open the sliding door on the ocean side and fall asleep to the waves and sounds of the jungle. Two sliding doors provide excellent cross ventilation. We have a 50" smart TV where you can use Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming services. Unlike other rentals, we have two wifi services so that if one goes out, the other one is available. Download speeds are generally in the 100Mps range and work well for Zoom meetings. We use two different internet services and have battery backup so it works even if there is no power. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a four burner gas stovetop, coffee maker, electric kettle, and blender. If you enjoy cooking, there is a full set of non-stick high quality non-stick anodized aluminum cookware. The house is located a few minutes from the beach on the main path in Yelapa where you can get the real local experience and watch and hear life go by in the village. It's only a five to ten minute walk to town for restaurants and shops. A small tienda (store) located right next door has a selection of drinks, snacks, and food. Plus, there's a little coffee stand about 20 steps away from the door. The home is located on the third level and getting there includes one regular stairway as well as a sturdy metal spiral staircase.
