The enclosed bedroom (with ceiling fan and available air conditioning) provides solitude -- or open the sliding door on the ocean side and fall asleep to the waves and sounds of the jungle. It's only five minutes to town and its restaurants and shops. A small tienda (store) located right next door has a selection of drinks, snacks, and food. Plus, there's a little coffee stand about 20 steps away from the door. The home is located on the third level and getting there includes one regular stairway as well as a spiral staircase. I like to give space to our guests but I am always take care of their needs. I've lived in Yelapa my entire life, so I know the area very well. Nature breathes through its surroundings. Yelapa is a safe, friendly place and I'm proud to have been born in this paradise. There is no public transport or cars in Yelapa and almost all visitors simply walk around town. However, there are 4 wheel ATVs which can be hired to take you around town much like taxis.
