Thea’s Retreat with Outside Bath

Our huts at Pipplepen Glamping are nestled in the Dorset countryside on a working organic dairy farm. Enjoy stunning views from your doorstep and explore the beautiful Dorset countryside & coast. Please note this hut has a covered outside bath not wood fired hot tub! The space *PLEASE READ - FOR ALL WEEKDAY BOOKINGS FROM 1ST APRIL 2026* All weekday bookings (weekends & bank holidays are NOT affected) have been discounted by £50 per night from 1st April 2026. This is due to Wessex Water carrying out some upgrade work to their site next to Pipplepen Glamping. More information below. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any queries regarding this! Please not this will NOT affect water supply to the hut at any point. From April 2026, Wessex Water will be carrying out some upgrade work to its site to the south west of Pipplepen Glamping. This project is expected to last for up to 12 months, with work taking place on weekdays - Monday to Friday - not on weekends or bank holidays. While contractors may arrive between 7.00 - 9.00am, no work on the site or compound will begin before 8.30am. The work would finish by 4pm, with the compound closed down by 6pm. The Wessex Water site is some distance away from Pipplepen Glamping, so any disturbance or disruption should be minimal. Access to the construction compound, which will be in the field adjacent to the Wessex Water site, will be via the access track that runs alongside Pipplepen Glamping, therefore, there may be some occasional increased vehicle movements along this track at times during weekday working hours. Wessex Water apologises for any inconvenience caused. Thea's Retreat has a double bed (small ladder to access this), dining table for two & log burner to keep the hut cosy during the winter months. The small kitchen area has a mini fridge, a gas cooker with 4 rings, kettle, toaster, glassware, cookware, crockery & utensils. There is an en-suite shower room. Bedding, towels & bathrobes provided. Tea, coffee, sugar & milk provided. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bubble bath & bath salts provided. The outside space offers stunning countryside views on a covered decking area with outside bath & egg chair, which can be used all year round. The outside bath has instant hot & cold water. Please note this hut has an outside bath & not hot tub. You will also be able to enjoy your own private seating area outside with fire pit & grill. As the hut is located on a working farm you will be able to enjoy lots of local wildlife (and a sheep or two) from your own front door. If you are celebrating a special occasion whilst staying with us please do let us know! Logs for wood burner provided. Additional logs can be purchased during your stay for a small cost. Other things to note There is a 2 night stay minimum. Check in days are Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Check in time is 3pm - 9pm. Checkout time is 10am. Unfortunately we are unable to accept arrivals after 9pm. The hut is approx. 100m from the car parking area. A wheelbarrow is provided to transport your luggage. Due to our rural location a car is essential. Please note public transport in the area is very limited and taxis must be pre-booked. Don't forget your wellies!
