Klettur is a beautiful and tastefully decorated house by Ytri Rangá, with incredible views of the river and Hekla. The proximity to nature is unique and the nearest houses are far away. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and a living room. There's a big patio with a hot tub. The house is well located with regard to day trips to the main tourist attractions of the South. Hella is a 10-minute drive away, where you can find a shop, gas station, pharmacy, restaurants, and more necessities. Then this is the dream house for you. Our house is located on the banks of Ytri Rangá, close to nature, with irresistible views of the river and Hekla, one of Iceland's most famous volcanoes. There is a lot of tranquility and bird song, far from other houses and disturbances from everyday life. The house was built in 2024 and is beautifully decorated, with bright and open spaces. It offers all the comforts you need to enjoy the peace of nature. The house has two bedrooms. The double room is large and has large windows facing the river and Hekla. There you can also walk out onto the terrace and enjoy the view, whether you're going to bed or starting the day with a coffee in hand. Inside the double bedroom there is also a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The other bedroom is smaller, but comfortable and has a 120 cm wide bed and a TV. The house has two fully equipped bathrooms, both with a shower, one inside the master bedroom. If you need more sleeping space, there is a sofa bed in a separate living room, with 140 cm wide sleeping space. The kitchen is equipped with all the main appliances and tools, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, baking oven and wine cooler. The dining room can accommodate 6-10 people and the living room also has seats for 6-10 people, where you can relax. The living room also has a smart TV, but we recommend turning off the TV and watching the wildlife, sunset or even the northern lights out the windows! A washing machine and dryer are in the laundry room, which guests can use. The garden has a large and beautiful terrace, where you can relax, eat or just enjoy the surroundings. There's also a hot tub and garden furniture to relax in. Near the house there are numerous beautiful hiking trails that offer an amazing nature experience. Just a 10-minute walk from the house is a beautiful waterfall that is fun to explore – the perfect place to enjoy nature and tranquility. The house is also well located for those who want to go on day trips to the most popular tourist destinations in the South. You can easily visit Þórsmörk, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Vestmannaeyjar, Jökulsárlón, the Golden Circle and many more beautiful places worth exploring. The village of Hella is only a 10-minute drive away, where you'll find all the essentials, including a grocery store, pharmacy, gas stations, and restaurants. There is also a golf course nearby for golf enthusiasts. Please note! A special permit must be purchased to fish in the river.
