Centrally-located room and private bathroom that includes a toilet, sink, and a stall shower in a two story Newport News house on a quiet dead-end street facing a private golf course. The room is on the second floor of the house. We are close to Christopher Newport University, the Ferguson Center, the Mariners Museum, the Noland Trail, Riverside Hospital (1.5 miles away), and several great places to eat. The space Short term guests have access to the bedroom and private bathroom with a folding partition door separating the two rooms from the rest of the house so that you can move between the bedroom and bathroom in privacy. The bedroom includes a TV with a roku and access to the local over the air channels and an extra HDMI cable to connect your laptop to for a big display. There is also a mini fridge, microwave, and a Mr. Coffee maker in the room. You will find an iron, ironing board, bath towels, wash cloths, and a vacuum cleaner in the closet. The bathroom is complete with a toilet, sink, and a stall shower. There is hand soap by the sink, toilet paper for the toilet, and a bottle of body wash for the shower. Guest access Long term guests feel free to inquire about downstairs full kitchen access and washer and dryer access. During your stay Feel free to text, communicate via the AirBnB application, or just ask me your questions if you see us in the common areas of the house. Meegan, the house dog, will always accept pats on the head, belly rubs, and games of tug of war with her bone are always on the table.
