Point Lookout’s stunning beaches are 15-20 minutes away by car and are also accessible by bus. The space 🛏️This renovated granny flat is ideal for short island getaways. It’s simple, comfortable, and prepared with care for each stay, so guests arrive to a fresh, welcoming space every time. With a queen bed, modern bathroom, climate control for warm and cooler weather, and free Wi-Fi, it offers a comfortable place to come back to after a day spent exploring the island. The cottage includes a basic kitchenette with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle for simple food preparation. There is no kitchen sink or hot plate, which suits guests who enjoy dining out, grabbing takeaway, or keeping things simple during their stay. Fresh linens and towels are provided (beach towels not included), and free street parking is available directly out front. Your hosts live in the main house and are happy to help with questions or local recommendations if you would like. This accommodation is best suited to guests looking for a cosy, private space rather than a luxury resort or fully self-catered holiday home. This residential neighbourhood is generally quiet, and the cottage is tucked away from busy main roads and crowds of tourists. You may hear neighbouring activity or local wildlife, including resident curlews. Earplugs are provided for your comfort. This is a non-smoking accommodation. P.S. Island life runs on island time. Many local cafés and restaurants close early or take a break during the week, so we recommend checking hours in advance, booking reservations where possible, or bringing a few supplies if you’re staying during quieter days.
