Everything is in walking distance in the small town of Húsavík; whale watching, restaurants, pool, golf course, and hiking/biking paths. Walking from our apartment all the way to the other end of town/GeoSea takes just about 40 minutes. The apartment is on the first floor of the house with a private entrance and free parking. Located in the picturesque town of Húsavík, this 80sqm apartment offers 2 spacious bedrooms, a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is in walking distance in the small town of Húsavík; whale watching, restaurants, golf course, swimming pool, GeoSea a world-class geothermal bathing spa, and picturesque hiking/biking paths. Walking from our apartment all the way to the other end of the town/GeoSea takes just about 40 minutes. The bedrooms are spacious with large closets for clothes. One has a desk and chair for working. The apartment fits well 2 couples or a family of 3-5, but is spacious enough to accommodate up to six guests, but pleace make sure the bed/bunkbed/sofa arrangement fits you. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other one a bunk bed (140*200 + 90*200), there is also a sofa in the living room that can be converted into a bed - it is available if requested, please note the extra service fee for the sixth guest. Baby travel crip and bed linen is available upon request, included in the price. Other things to note In our garden there is a trampoline, swings and slide that you are welcome to use and there is also a small chicken house with 4 chickens that you are welcome to visit. However this is our personal garden that we enjoy everyday, so we kindly ask you to request access. The hot water in Húsavík comes from under the lava field and is therefore full of minerals. Perhaps you are not used to the smell of sulfur in the water, that is in the shower and in the sinks. This is totally normal and actually we that live in the north of Iceland never notice it so do not worry about it. You will also see the white minerals on the floor in the shower.
