Gulf-front, 2 bedroom beach condo on Captiva Island
Watch spectacular sunsets from your two bedroom, two bathroom second story beachfront screen porch after a great day enjoying the Gulf waters, heated pool and spending the day surrounded by nature. Unit 1022 is part of Plantation Beach Club II, located in South Seas Island Resort, at the northern end of Captiva Island. The apartment has a full kitchen, full sized refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. The main living area has a dining table which accommodates 6, and a sleeper sofa which opens up for two. There is free wifi, three televisions with Blue-ray disk player. The living area opens to a delightful second story screened porch, with table for four and a lounge chair. This porch is fantastic for sipping coffee as you look over the beach in the morning and listen to the abundant birds, and see dolphins jumping in the water. South Seas is Florida before over-development spoiled it. The walk to the beach is literally 100 steps from the bottom of the staircase or elevator. The Gulf of Mexico's water is inviting. The waves are usually very gentle and predictable, making this an ideal place for families with children to introduce their kids to salt water and the ocean. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The master bedroom has a walk-in shower, the other has a shower and tub. The unit also has access to the PBC II tennis court, heated pool, immediately adjacent, three outdoor gas grills, and free laundry machines. You will have your own private parking space immediately beneath your unit. Optional resort amenities include access to a separate pool with large slides, a nice gym, two resort restaurants, an ice cream shop, and resort trolley. The cost of the amenities is $19 per adult per day. The amenities may be purchased any time during your vacation, but once purchased must be for the remainder of your stay.
