Introducing Our New Deluxe 12x32 Cabin in the forest. Nestled in the serene forest of the D-sector, our new 12x32 cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Designed to accommodate up to 6 guests in the cabin features 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twin beds) and a king-sized bed, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. This cabin includes full electric w/ a 5.5kw heater, 6000 BTU A/C, microwave, refrig/freezer, toaster oven, coffee pot & k-cup, and fans. The camp is situated on nearly 4 miles of wilderness riverfront on a stunning dead end road, and yet just a few miles to the beautiful town of Parsons WV in Tucker County (home of Thomas / Davis / and Canaan Valley), with all shops, services and lots of restaurants so close by. The Dry Fork and Black Fork Rivers combine nearby, the cable suspension bridge to Hendricks is less than half a mile downstream, the Fernow Experimental Forest is just a mile downstream (following waterfall filled elklick run), and the Monongahela national forest and huge unlogged forests are all around! Waterfalls, creeks, kayak drop points, swimming, tubing, hiking, fishing, and water recreation abounds. Self check in after you have booked your preferred site online. Guest access Directions to D1 Dryfork Forest Retreat Cabin (site D1): --> Take the 2nd entrance into the camp where you will see the office cabin and big yellow signage that say Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground.. --> Swing around past the office cabin and drive down the powerline road to the Sector D camping area. --> To the right of the sector D camping trail, you will see a gravel road up a small hill... proceed up that road to parking at the cabin area. --> There is a walking trail down from the firepit area to the coffee pavilion, porta-potties, and water / electric access.
