Quiet retreat, great for families, couples, or ladies' time out. Cabin shares 10 acres of beautiful, private woods with one other cabin. The space Dogs are welcome, but we charge a $25/pooch fee - payable on arrival. Other things to note This log cabin sit on 1,000 feet of lake frontage, and a very private 10 acres. You will not notice any neighbors! There are walking trails. kayaks and a canoe available and two docks - a swimming dock and a fishing dock. The owner is of the mindset of leaving as much as possible to nature, so the forest goes right down to the lake. Placid Lake is part of the Tiger Cat Flowage, which gives you access to bunches of water! In winter, you'll find yourself very close to world class cross country ski trails.
