This geodome in the midst of the Boreal Forest is a magical setting offering the perfect balance of modern comfort and wilderness experience. During Winter, you can ride the slopes of Mount Sima straight out of your bed, or go for a snowshoeing adventure in the Forest. It's the ideal retreat for anyone looking to recharge and relax in the tranquility of Nature. The space Off-grid & eco-friendly site. The Geodome is located at it's very own site with private amenities that include an outdoor kitchen, indoor & outdoor dining area, fire pit, an outdoor shower with hot water and a private outhouse. Kitchen facilities include all the basic amenities for an enjoyable stay. Propane gas for stoves, heating and fire pits. You must hike to the campsite. Maps will be provided with your welcome packet and at the base. Transportation can be arranged for a fee in advance if you do not wish to hike to the campsite. 1km hike with 50m elevation. Approximately 10 minutes from the parking lot to the campsite. All water is delivered to the site and levels are monitored regularly. We ask guests to be conservative with their water usage. The area is rustic and the amenities are those of a campground with a touch of Luxe inside the dome. This is an off-grid experience and the outlets are 12 volt only. Free Wi-Fi is located at the base, not the campsite. The area has cell service. Camping area is located at the shoulder of one of the ski runs overlooking a beautiful valley. **15-20 minute Hike-in location** Other camping area nearby consists of 3 wall tents and 3 bell tents nicely spread out with private patios and fire pits. Trees in-between sites for privacy. Firewood will be made available to guests for the common fire pit. where you can enjoy some S'mores and a laugh with new friends. We have 2 private lakes on the property with guest access via hiking trails. The first lake is approximately 10 minutes walk and the second lake is approximately 30 minutes walk. There are canoes & lifejackets for rent. Guests can swim in the lakes. Hiking trails available. Ski-in/ ski-out available during winter. Free disc golf admission during your stay, rental disc golf discs available. Biking trails in summer during bike nights. During the summer months, enjoy extended daylight hours where you have more sunlight for activities. You may even catch the rays of the infamous 'Midnight sun'. Guest access Common areas include an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and outhouse. We have 2 private lakes on the property with guest access. Hiking trails available. Ski-in/ ski-out available during winter. *Hike in location only* If you need to request transportation via Side by side recreational vehicle to/from the campsite a fee of $10 will be charged. This fee is waived for guests with a disability. Guests must be prepared to wear a helmet in the recreational vehicle. Recreational vehicle transportation must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. This is subject to availability and the request is not guaranteed.
