Welcome to Rushbrook Retreat, located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Dorset. Benville Stars offers a cosy tranquil escape in secluded countryside, with easy accessibility to the beautiful Jurassic Coast beaches & neighbouring towns. Our nearest beach is the beautiful West Bay in Bridport, only 20 minutes by car, with the neighbouring National Trust owned Hive beach just five minutes further along the coastal road. Lyme Regis & Weymouth beaches are only 35 minutes away❤️ The space Rushbrook Retreat, an escape to the country, the coast & the beautiful star lit skies. Benville Stars, Sirius is one of two beautiful Shepherds Huts located within the 5 acre grounds of our family home. Sirius provides a modern yet cosy space with a kitchen, dedicated dining area, double bed & a separate bathroom. French doors open onto a decked area where you can embrace the Dorset sunshine or watch the beautiful sunset. Kitchen amenities include an air-fryer oven, induction hob, & full size under counter fridge. Complimentary tea/coffee/sugar are provided, with a little bottle of milk being available in the fridge on arrival. The hut offers heating through a plinth heater controlled via a wall thermostat. A small TV & separate built in Bluetooth speaker are available also. The bedroom area provides a double bed with suitcase storage underneath & full size single fitted wardrobe. The bathroom offers a shower, heated towel rail, with robes, towels, & complimentary shampoo/conditioner provided. The private decked area overlooks our grounds & surroundings with outside dining, sun loungers & a super comfy egg chair being provided. Private parking on a dedicated stoned area is provided for the two huts. Nearest village shops & bakery are located at Evershot, 2 miles or Beaminster, 5 miles Nearest Pubs both 2 miles away, The Fox Inn, Corscombe & The Acorn Inn, Evershot, with Winyards Gap Pub being only short drive away. Guest access Rushbrook Retreat is accessed via a private driveway through the main house grounds. Please be aware that we are a dark sky night, so a torch is recommended for late arrivals. Other things to note Sorry, no WiFi is available in the huts.
