The property sits at the side of the river (Dover Beck). The location is very secluded, and perfect for a romantic break. There are a number of footpaths leading to great gastro pubs, a short walk from the cottage. The upstairs lounge has lovely river views. There is a large area of private patio and a lawn within the courtyard, entirely for the guests of the cottage. The dining kitchen is well equipped, with modern amenities, but retains its traditional charm with a beamed ceiling and some exposed brick. The bedroom has a huge, super king bed adjacent to a modern shower room. The river is a haven for wildlife, and we frequently see ducks, geese, heron, kingfishers and moorhens visiting the beck. It’s a tranquil, peaceful place to relax. Guest access The cottage has its own private parking next to the property. There is a lock box for the house key.
