The number of guests is monitored by security staff via outdoor surveillance cameras. (3) Tampering with the outdoor security cameras will result in a fine of 100,000 yen. All Airbnb-listed properties in Japan are required to have outdoor cameras. These are used to verify check-in, the number of people entering the house, and any unauthorized individuals not on the guest list. Interfering with the cameras is considered obstruction of operations. (4) The house features delicate and specially designed traditional sliding doors (shoji and fusuma). If they are damaged or stained, guests will be charged for repairs. (5) There are 2 toilets but only 1 shower room. Please refer to the floor plan and confirm whether this setup works for your group. (6) This house is designed to offer a retro Japanese experience. If you prefer modern, new homes, this may not be the right fit. (7) The 2F can be hot in summer, and the 1F can be cold in winter. Each room has an air conditioner, but there is no heater in the bathroom or changing area, so please take note if you are sensitive to the cold. (8) There are stairs both at the entrance and inside the house. (9) About half of the walk from the house to the nearest station (around 4 minutes) is a gentle uphill slope. (10) Large waste items such as suitcases or strollers cannot be disposed of as regular trash. You will be charged separately for oversized garbage disposal.
