Hobsons Cottage

Hobsons Cottage is a 2 bedroom traditional stone built cottage located in the hamlet of Cowgill in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fabulous newly renovated detached cottage is situated 3.5 miles from the picturesque village of Dent and a 5 minute drive from Dent station (the highest in England) on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway. The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside or just sitting back and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The space Hobsons Cottage is a charming 2 bedroom cottage on the Dales Way sleeping up to 4 people. Downstairs comprises of a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, washing machine, kettle and toaster. From the kitchen there is a separate pantry with fridge, freezer and microwave. The dining room and living room both have wood burning stoves and the living room has a smart TV and DVD player. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs both with plenty of storage, 1 double and 1 twin and a large bathroom with walk in power shower and separate bath plus heated towel rail. There is central heating throughout the cottage. At the rear of the cottage is a paved area with garden furniture. At the front there is a lawn and garden with stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales. Linen and towels are provided plus logs for the fire and ultra fast broadband. Guest access Guests have full use of all of the cottage, patio and garden. From the main road access is by a private drive shared with the farmhouse with parking outside the front of the cottage. Other things to note The cottage is supplied from our own sealed spring which originates from deep within the Whernside cave systems. The water is filtered and Ultra Violet sterilized. This is a no pets allowed cottage. No smoking or vaping inside the cottage.
