Relax with family and friends at this cozy vacation home in New Buffalo, Michigan, just a 2-minute walk to Lake Michigan! This 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home is nestled in a peaceful wooded setting and just steps from a private community beach on Lake Michigan. Enjoy the beauty of nature, while being close to charming downtown New Buffalo and other top Harbor Country attractions. When you're ready to relax, sit back on the screened porch and listen for the waves or gather around the fire pit. The space We are experienced hosts of our New Buffalo Beach Retreat vacation rental, though the listing appears “new” because we are rebooting on Airbnb with a new co-host for 2025. The screened porch is currently undergoing renovations! It will be complete with new screens and furnishings by May 2025. This multi-level home requires exterior stairs to enter and interior stairs are required to access the lower-level bedroom and game room. Stairs are also required to access the private community beach. Parking is available for 4 vehicles: 2 in the flat area at the top of the steep driveway and 2 in the flat parking spots at the base of the driveway. This is a quiet lakeshore community and a relaxing getaway for families/friends. No events, parties, or loud gatherings are permitted. Outside noise must be limited after 9:00 p.m. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 2 story home. There are a few steps required to enter the home, with a backyard firepit and grill accessible from the lower level patio door and also by walking around the house. Please note that the 4th bedroom with a queen bed, family room/game room, the second full bathroom, and laundry are all on the lower level accessed from the kitchen through a door that leads to a narrow stairway down. The door to the lower level allows for greater privacy and safety from the stairs. The house sits on a bluff with a steep driveway. We allow a maximum of 4 vehicles: 2 at the top of the driveway and 2 at the base of the driveway (accessed by stairs or the driveway). Other things to note Please note this is not a party house. Hosting an event without the written consent of the hosts may result in a termination of the reservation without a refund. We also kindly ask our guests to respect quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM so as not to disturb our neighbors. Please feel free to enjoy late nights at the firepit with mindfulness of the noise level. Any loud activity that results in a phone call from our neighbors and/or the police may result in the termination of the reservation without a refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
