Sleep in the Clouds! Haiku Hut

This little cabin has a beautiful private outlook, elevated over the Charles Darwin reserve and features backyard access to the same named walk that leads directly to the famous Wentworth Falls. It`s urban setting enables it to be an easy 10 minute walk to the village yet is really secluded overlooking an acre of grounds....It`s also a few minutes drive to all the best walks and places the Blue Mountains has to offer. It has a great view over southside Wentworth Falls. The space This is a cabin that was once an old laundry and boiler room for the larger building next door from days gone by when the property functioned as a hospital over a hundred years ago…..It has since then been thoughtfully renewed into a cosy liveable space, somewhere to escape from the mundane whether on your own or with someone else and to step back a little from your routine and enjoy a spectacular sunset…... Often guests enjoy a weekend stay while others prefer a longer escape to renew or rejuvenate…. It’s part of a large shared property which means that while very private and you have the whole cabin to yourself, you will be sharing the grounds with other guests staying in either of the other two accommodations ( or sometimes not! ). However guests often comment how they don’t notice each other that much as the property is so large…. All linen for 2 included. Sheets, pillowcases, towels and t towel Guest access If you’re coming via train it’s only a 10 minute walk from the station. If driving then there is off street parking out the front of the property for one vehicle with extra off street parking available further up the ( very quiet ) street. Other things to note Really important to note BEFORE booking; 1. It is a small space. With the rear patio and upstairs sleeping platform included the space is approx 25sq m but the actual building footprint size is just 12sq m so just be aware that while very cosy, it is also very compact as can be seen in the photos . It really is a Tiny House. 2. The fold down attic ladder is very steep, as can be seen in the photos so being agile is a bonus, especially when using the bathroom at night. It also has a weight limit of 150kg. It’s also NOT SUITABLE for children under the age of 16 so please don’t book if you are with a child. A baby in a crib on ground level is of course fine. 3. Because it has lovely views it also does mean it is exposed to the mild extremes of upper blue mountains weather which means wind, rain and hot sun. The cabin is super strong so no worries there but in winter it can be a good idea to bring earplugs in case of severe wind noise and a good rain coat too….. *We can't take bookings for the UTA until Feb 2027 and all enquiries will be declined.
