Shankar Bhawan is named after Lord Shiva 🔱 We also have an open courtyard where you can play, and you’re welcome to request a badminton set from me :) ⚠️ Kind Note: This listing is for a private studio-style room within our home (not an apartment or BHK) and is thoughtfully designed for a maximum of 2 guests only. ▪️Due to space and layout considerations, it is not suitable for additional guests or children. We’ve kept it this way to ensure every stay feels relaxed, comfortable, and just right for two. Our home is built around a traditional courtyard layout, open and timeless - with a sacred in-house Shivji temple on the ground floor, home to the self-manifested भूमेश्वर महादेव (Swayambhu Shivling). Guests are welcome to visit, meditate, or offer prayers ॐ We live upstairs, close enough if you need anything, yet your privacy is always fully respected. ꕤ During your stay I'm available in person or on call, reach out as you prefer! Other things to note Our check-in process is simple and secure. Please ensure valid government-approved ID proofs for all staying guests are provided at or before arrival. Autos are easily available right from here. ▪️ House Rules: 🚫 This is not a party place. 🚭 No smoking indoors, no alcohol ☒, and no non-vegetarian food ☒ (Rishikesh is a dry zone where non-veg is legally restricted). 👥 For safety and comfort, we do not host teenagers or very young guests unless accompanied by a responsible adult. (Minimum age: 25 years unless coming with an adult.) 🔕 Please maintain quiet hours between 10 PM – 7 AM, as other families also live nearby. ✦ Group Stays ✦ This unit hosts up to 2 guests. If you're coming with a bigger group, our other Shankar Bhawan units accommodate 4 and 2 guests.
