Away from Convenience – Quiet Forest Villa Tokachi

This is a private, entire-rental villa surrounded by the forests of Tokachi. There are no nearby houses, allowing quiet and peaceful stay. This villa is ideal for guests who value privacy and time away from everyday life. Please relax and enjoy doing nothing at all. The villa is rented exclusively to one group per day. At night, there are no streetlights or traffic sounds— only the sounds of nature. Rather than serving as a sightseeing base, this is a place to slow down and enjoy time away. The space This is an entire private villa. Up to four guests may stay, but only two beds are provided. The total guest space is 39.75㎡. If unexpected circumstances require a date change, please feel free to contact us and we will assist where possible. Guest access Guests have access to the first floor, the loft bedroom, the outdoor terrace, and the surrounding forest within the property grounds. Other things to note As the villa is located in a forested area, insects may appear depending on the season. For safety reasons due to wildlife such as brown bears, outdoor dining is prohibited. Please keep all food and garbage indoors at all times. There are very few nearby buildings and almost no outdoor lighting. For safety, we recommend arriving during daylight hours. A car is strongly recommended. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so please purchase all necessary supplies before arrival. Depending on your mobile carrier, reception may be limited. As of August 2025, Rakuten Mobile has particularly weak signal coverage in this area. If the nightly rate is under ¥20,000 per person, a local accommodation tax of ¥300 per person per night applies. Check-in is generally between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. As the area has very little lighting, roads can be difficult to navigate after dark. For safety reasons, we recommend arriving during daylight hours.
