The ski-in and out are both considered Blue runs. In the summer and fall, you will find yourself right on the Crested Butte trail system with direct access to the Lower Westside trail suitable for biking and hiking adventures for all ages. >>--->> Private Car Service for guests of San Moritz: Included in the price of your stay at this condo is access to the chauffeured car service. This service is like having a personal Lyft driver who is ready to pick you up and take you to where you want to go. This service provides you with private door-to-door access to all destinations in Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. You can ski down to the lifts but if you'd rather not, call the car to have them drop you off right at the base. Done with skiing for the day and need a ride to a restaurant, call the car. Don't feel like looking for a parking spot, call the car. You want to head back to the condo but they want to stay, call the car. - Ski Season (Thanksgiving - 1st Sunday in April) - The car service runs everyday from 9AM to Midnight. - Summer (July 1 - Labor Day) - The car service runs on Fri and Sat from 4PM to Midnight. Transportation to and from the airport or destinations outside of Crested Butte are not included in this service. When the hot tub is not available this is a good alternative for warming up after fall hikes and bike rides. Note: sauna and shower work and are okay but they are original from 1974 and are both scheduled to be upgraded. >>--->> Laundry: Coin-op washer ($1.50) and dryer ($1.00) available on the ground floor. Guest access >>--->> Vehicle Recommendation: Guests are encouraged to have AWD or 4WD vehicles when visiting the San Moritz in the winter and early spring. The roads up to Mt. Crested Butte become snow packed in winter and having AWD will help to prevent losing traction. >>--->> Access: This condo is located on the top floor which is also the parking lot level and only requires 8 steps down from the parking lot when entering the condo building and accessing the front door. >>--->> Entry: Check-in is required at the San Moritz front desk. From there, guests will be given door keys and a parking pass. The front door to the condo is located in an interior hallway of the condo building. This is especially nice in the winter when temps drop. There are 8 steps down from the parking lot to the top level of the condo building. The condo is located on the top level.
