Built in the year 1900, this building was the very first bank in Hanna City! Today the main part of the building is my photography studio. Located in the rear of my photography studio is the unique and fun apartment with it's own private entrance. This unique space features exposed brick walls, original prints from some of our travels, and a custom built ladder leading up to the sleeping area and living space! ***PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SAFELY CLIMB A LADDER IN ORDER TO STAY HERE** Exposed brick walls from the original bank built in 1900 give this unique space the historic feel of days gone by. Walking in the door of the apartment you will find the kitchenette and full bath. Above the kitchenette you will find the loft area w/a queen memory foam floor bed and living area w/a 32" smart TV. This level is only reachable only by LADDER and not suitable for guests w/children under 12. If you are unable to easily climb a ladder this loft apartment is not for you. This apartment is the perfect space for a fun weekend getaway! Apartment entrance is located directly behind the photography studio. Please drive to the rear of the building and park in front of the entrance (grey door) to the apartment. Hanna city is a very safe town however we do leave the light on by the entrance for safety purposes and have security lights installed in the alley next to the building. We live just 4 miles away from the studio so if you have a question or problem we can help :) Hanna City is a very SAFE area and has that charming small farm town feel. Gils Supper Club is across the street, along w/The Warehouse Bar. The Hog Troff is where you must visit for the best breakfast around! If you love primitives/antique shopping we recommend Country Relics (just down Main Street) and South Eden Village Mall (3 miles West) or Blessings in Canton is also an AMAZING shop. There is also a laundromat about 4 blocks down along w/a gas station and Dollar General. You can walk to just about anywhere in the town of Hanna City. We are less than 8 miles from the Greater Peoria Airport and about 11 miles from the Hospitals. Less than 9 miles from Bradley University. Wildlife Prairie Park is about 5 miles away. Lots of antiquing in the surrounding small towns! Please be aware there is a working photography studio in the front of the building. The photographer only works part time but could have sessions anytime during the day time hours of 9 a.m - 7 p.m. We offer a free 3 p.m. LATE CHECK-OUT on Sundays only! ***During the winter months we suggest packing house slippers as this 120 year old building can have chilly floors on the lower level. **please read house rules before booking.
