Cabin on a creek!

The Double Shot cabin sits right on the creek a stones throw from downtown Nicholson and 15 minutes from the Elk Mountain Ski area! The cabin features bunk beds and its Vermont castings wood burning stove will keep you nice and toasty in the winter months. This is a very rustic location with no electricity or running water. There is a composting toilet on location. And the creek is great for a refreshing dip! The cabin is Cary in / Cary out. The space There is a walking path to the Tunkhannock River on the back of the property with access to launch Kayaks or Fly fish for trout and small mouth bass. (PA Fishing Permit required) the cabin itself sits nestled right next to Horton Creek with a fire pit and sitting area right on the water.. The cabin is wired with a 30 AMP generator hook up, we also have a generator available for rent with longer stays. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
