Description

The Double Shot cabin sits right on the creek a stones throw from downtown Nicholson and 15 minutes from the Elk Mountain Ski area! The cabin features bunk beds and its Vermont castings wood burning stove will keep you nice and toasty in the winter months. This is a very rustic location with no electricity or running water. New added outhouse with Composting toilet and outside shower with a great view of the creek. The creek is great for a refreshing dip! The cabin is Cary in / Cary out. The space There is a walking path to the Tunkhannock River on the back of the property with access to launch Kayaks or Fly fish for trout and small mouth bass. (PA Fishing Permit required) the cabin itself sits nestled right next to Horton Creek with a fire pit and sitting area right on the water.. The cabin is wired with a 30 AMP generator hook up, we also have a generator available for rent with longer stays. There is also an A/C unit inside that works great in the summer however the generator is required. New added this season is the outhouse with newly upgraded composting toilet and outside shower that gives you a great view of the creek while rising off.
