Green Pastures: The Green Chalet

This secluded waterfront Chalet has a vaulted ceiling with a pine interior, and drywall in the bedrooms. There is a Jacuzzi tub and a propane fireplace. The 32 inch flat screen smart TV will normally pick up by antenna local CBC and regional CTV, Netflix YouTube and other apps with FibreOptic speeds up to 100 Mbps, play DVD/CD, and other video from your own devices via a provided HDMI cord. We are located 15 minutes or half way between historic Charlottetown and the attractions of Cavendish. The space Green Pastures is a collection of three, two bedroom fully equipped chalets located in a secluded setting among the pine trees on the Wheatley River on the North Shore, but centrally located in PEI. Most areas of PEI are within a one hour drive of this property and all services are easily accessible within a 5 to 20 minute drive. The property itself is a 12 acre wooded lot so that you are not exposed to any neighbours, and yet if you want to rent two or three chalets for a family event, they are connected by a large grassy field for playing and hanging out together, while still separated by 40 feet of woods. A long lane-way from the road arched with birch trees welcomes you to the serenity you are able to experience. You can stop in at the office to check in, and then drive on down to your Chalet. A view of the salt water Wheatley River from your deck and the grassy field is an invitation to wander down to the river front to try out the canoe, the kayaks, or the rowboat. Guest access There is a BBQ and picnic table located near the fire pit. Campfires are allowed in the designated pit when the conditions permit. The large grassy field is great for soccer or badminton type sports. A laundry room with complimentary washer and dryer are provided for all guests. We have a collection of DVD's at the office suitable for family viewing. Other things to note Check in is between 3 pm and 5 pm unless you have made prior arrangements with us!
