Relax and unwind in this bright, stylish guest suite surrounded by mature oaks in picturesque Salisbury, CT. Located steps from the popular Undermountain trailhead and about an hour's hike to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to Hotchkiss, Salisbury School, Berkshire School, Lime Rock, fine dining & events venues in Salisbury and Lakeville, and the chic downtowns of Great Barrington, MA, and Millerton, NY. The space Queen guest suite with reading nook, designated space on a shared deck, central AC, and super fast Wi-Fi. Dramatic, vaulted ceilings and windows on all four sides give the space a bright and modern feel. Freshly laundered sleep masks are provided so your rest isn't disturbed by sunrise. Queen bed is outfitted with a firm memory- foam mattress and soft bedding. Non-feather and orthopedic neck-support pillows are provided. Large armoire provides ample space for your things. A cozy reading nook includes two comfortable chairs with foot rests, lending library, turntable (w/ Bluetooth speaker), and a selection of records. In winter, a gas fireplace provides an enchanting focal point to the space. Enjoy a light breakfast or get some work done using the two-person butcher block table & stools. Keurig coffee maker, small electric tea kettle, selection of coffees and teas, snacks, mini fridge, and countertop ice maker are provided. Outside, you'll have a designated area of a shared deck facing the back yard. Take a nap on a lounge chair while listening to the birds and feeling the breeze. Guest access The guest suite is private, and there are no indoor common areas. Outdoor areas are shared with the host family. Other things to note NOTE: This guest suite is attached to our home, where we live full-time with 2 kids + 2 indoor cats. The cats don't have access to the guest suite at all, but they did spend time in there before March 2025 (in case of severe allergies). We will do our best to stay out of your way, but you may run into us in the backyard or on the deck on nice summer afternoons.
