A luxury 3-bed barn conversion, with 4 hours daily exclusive use of the indoor heated pool plus your own private garden, terrace and outside seating Nestled in rolling Dorset hills with views across open fields, and within walking distance to a gastropub and village shop, and within 2 hours of London by road and train Bath, Longleat, the Jurassic Coast and many wonderful attractions are nearby, with pubs, restaurants and farm shops galore Child and dog-friendly - cot and highchair on request The space Originally built in the Victorian-era by the Duke of Grovesnor as a building for a farm, the Dorset Barn has been renovated to a high standard to be an ideal countryside retreat, with underfloor heating throughout, and stunning rural views from all rooms, with rustic charm and privacy. Guests of The Barn have use of the beautiful heated indoor swimming pool, with morning and afternoon slots giving you exclusive use for each day of your stay. The pool building is just a few metres away from The Barn, and has its own changing room, bathroom and shower, as well as sun loungers and seating. Inside, you’ll find: 1 large double room with king size bed, sink, and double wardrobe (with space for a cot - available on request). 1 small double room with double bed and wardrobe. 1 bunk room with bunk beds (single bed size) and storage. The bathroom has a large shower, sink and loo. The well-equipped Shaker-style kitchen has an oven, hob, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. There is plenty of space to relax in the large sitting room, with comfy sofas, a smart TV with Sky, a dining table, woodburning stove and doors onto the terrace. There is even a bonus sitting room which can be used as a play room with 2 sofas and doors to the garden! Outside, the barn has private parking for 2 cars, and a securely-fenced garden with views towards the duckpond and resident ponies. You will probably see our ducks and chickens free-ranging around the paddocks, and be able to say hello to a friendly pony or some sheep. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The barn can accommodate well-behaved dogs on request (cleaning fee applies). Guest access Guests have the whole property and its garden to enjoy, and 4 hours of exclusive use of the heated indoor swimming pool each day usually in 2 two-hour slots, unless alternative arrangements have been made with the hosts. Other things to note Well-behaved dogs accommodated on request - additional cleaning fee applies. Dogs must be kept under control at all times and all waste picked up.
