The Bird House in Town

Want to experience island living? Meet Islanders or Slow down? Largeroom on the other side of the house with a very comfy queen bed with a desk. You can walk to restaurants, the ferry, etc. You are welcome to cook in the kitchen which is shared. We are very intuitive and ask that you are authentic and honest and treat others with honor and respect. We open our home In good faith. Please do not book if you are hiding anything or scared of dogs. You will not be comfortable here. The space We have 2, mini Austrian Shephard’s that are littermates born 4/2024. They sleep in kennels in the living room area, they are cute but can play in the common ares. I am a vegan but meat is fine in the kitchen. There are 19 stairs to get up to your room. But it’s one level when you are on the main floor. Your bathroom is thru the kitchen. Alittle odd but works. There isn’t much usable space in the closet. Guest access The kitchen great room is a common space and the south side of the deck as well as the west side of the deck. Please let let us know the times you decide to use the grill as the east side of the deck is at our bedroom. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7 am. During your stay You are welcome to join us at the table if we are eating or cook side by side with us in the kitchen. We do not have set times we eat. We prepare slow food and happy to visit or keep to ourselves. We enjoy having you in the house and hope you make yourself at home. Other things to note We have 2 dogs who mostly stay in the common area. You will need to walk thru this area to get to your bathroom. Which is only used by you. It is not shared. We only have 1 set of guests booked at a time. There is a loft are where you can watch tv.
