This beautiful self contained barn conversion has a well equipped kitchen-diner, newly-fitted bathroom, and a mezzanine bedroom in the eaves of the roof. The perfect getaway for accessing local world-class beaches, coastal walks, the Minack Theatre, ancient landscapes and stone circles. The space Beck's Barn offers a private annex with secure entrance, and includes an open plan kitchen diner and lounge space with sofa and TV. There is a newly-fitted bathroom with a shower and a bath. A narrow wooden staircase leads up to a cosy bedroom with a double bed in the eaves. Please be aware that there is some partial height restriction if you have any mobility restrictions. Guests also have their own private patio garden looking out to the South West for a great sunset. Guest access There is a small carpark on site for guests to use around the corner from Beck's Barn. The host Mary-Clare is often available to greet guests and provide keys during social hours, however self-check-in can also be arranged via a lockbox if needed. During their stay guests have sole access to the private annex and garden. Other things to note Beck's Barn is a great location for those both familiar and new to Cornwall - offering several of its world-class beaches and coastal walks within a short drive. By car: Sennen beach - 10 mins drive Porthcurno beach - 10 mins drive Lamorna Cove - 15 mins drive Penzance Town for Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Tesco & Co-op & Wharfside shopping centre- approx 20 minutes drive. Other popular destinations nearby include (by car): Lands End - 15 mins Minack (open air) theatre - 10 mins Fantastic fish restaurants, cafes, pubs and art galleries of Newlyn and Penzance - 10-20 mins St Ives - 40 mins Picturesque harbour of Mousehole - 15 mins The local town of St Buryan is just a 25 min walk (5 min drive), and offers a great local farm and gift shop, a convenience store, St Buryan Church and a friendly local pub. Getting around is easiest by car, but there is also a local taxi service, and bus service that stops at the end of the road (Land's End Road) and provides a direct route to Penzance train station, and many of the places listed above.
