RiverStone Retreat ~ Hot Tub w/View, Fire Pit
Description
Tucked away behind a quaint town in a residential neighborhood, this property rests beside a rapid river that winds through the serene forests of the North Cascades. The mid-century home welcomes you with warm cedar ceilings, exposed beams, and large windows that frame stunning river views. Step into the park-like yard to spot deer and birds, or simply soak in the lush, picture-perfect surroundings. Relax on the enormous deck, and when night falls, look up: the stars put on a breathtaking show. The space Located directly on the Stillaguamish River, our home was originally built in the 1980s and thoughtfully remodeled in 2022. While the space now features modern amenities - like a fully equipped kitchen and a new washer/dryer - we made sure to preserve our favorite vintage details, including the Earth Stove fireplace and large exposed beams, to maintain the home’s original charm. The layout is carefully designed to offer expansive river views from every room. Outside, an enormous yard filled with tall trees and huckleberry bushes surrounds the house. You’ll find a spacious fire pit area, a hot tub overlooking the river, a floating hammock net, a relaxing tree swing, lawn games, and more. Feel free to bring your own outdoor games and make the most of the open space. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property, with the exception of the detached garages. The home sits on a full acre of stunning riverfront land, including 210 feet of private shoreline. While the property feels like its own peaceful world, you’re just 5 minutes from the charming downtown area of Granite Falls. And only 20–30 minutes down the Mountain Loop Highway, you’ll find some of the most incredible hikes in Washington. The river that runs along the back of the house is the Stillaguamish River - affectionately known as “the Stilly.” It’s home to summer and winter steelhead, coho, Chinook, chum and pink salmon, bull trout, and sea-run cutthroat trout. You’re welcome to fish right from the property, as long as you follow all relevant fishing laws and regulations. And if you catch something - don’t forget to send pics! Just about a mile up Jordan Road is a local favorite called Riverscene Park, where people often park and float down the river on warm summer days. From the backyard, you might even spot a few tubers drifting peacefully by. Other things to note Please Note: • While we don’t host large parties at the property, we love welcoming intimate elopements ~ feel free to reach out with your plans! • The fireplace is a vintage feature and is for decorative use only. • Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by families and long-time residents. **Hot Tub Notice** Our hot tub has been installed between the lower and upper decks. Please note that some of the railing seats have been removed, and there are no safety gates installed for children at this time. For everyone’s safety, please watch your children closely in this area and use extra caution. Please be aware that we use standard hot tub maintenance chemicals to keep the water clean and safe. Guests with sensitive skin may experience irritation or a rash from these products. We are not responsible for any skin sensitivity or reactions resulting from the use of the hot tub. 🐾 Pet Policy: You’re welcome to bring your furry friend along! Just make sure to add your pet as a guest and include the pet fee when booking. 🚗 Parking: There’s plenty of parking available in the driveway, as well as in the covered area between the garages and the woodshed. ⚠️ River Safety For safety reasons, we do not recommend swimming, kayaking, or floating in the river at the property.
