Glass House: Lake Room

With an independent door, the Lake Room has a pond founded on the natural stone of the land, where fish live, and is decorated with spout, Adam's ribs and purple grass. A Sicilian lemon tree, succulents and shrubs complete the landscaping. The icing on the cake: the garden is FOR THE GUEST. In the bedroom, a closet, lampshade, switches on both sides of the bed, moringa, candle, incense, a rustic bench, iron, candle holder hanging from the ceiling... An extra mattress can accommodate your child! The space Our little house is colorful, playful, fun, and humorous. If you are looking for silence and tranquility in the midst of nature, with a breathtaking view right in the middle of the garden - the immense Pedra do Retiro seems to be actually embedded in the bottom of the yard - this is the ideal place. Many plants, fruit trees, flowers, two lakes with a fountain that produces a constant noise and three lovely cats can make your experience very pleasant. It is a place for those who love nature and animals: there is always the possibility of receiving visits from wild animals, all of them harmless. We often receive armadillos, tamarins, toucans, parrots, parakeets, woodpeckers, mallards, guans, coatis, tegu lizards and even otters, which coexist peacefully with the cats, stay for a few moments, feeding on our bananas, blackberries and other fruits, and then disappear into the woods. It's usually colder here than downtown, but we have a fireplace and a fire pit to warm our hearts. Definitely a place to feel at home. Guest access Let the guest feel welcomed and at home! Every guest is a potential friend. You can wander around the garden, take a nap in the pergola hammock, gaze at the ponds, light the floor fire or the fireplace in the living room, watch Netflix on the sofa, prepare afternoon coffee in the kitchen... During your stay What could be better than, when receiving a guest, making a friend? Exchanging ideas, affection, travel reports, photography, experiences and cake recipes is a delicious and enriching possibility.
