The space Nestled in the serene Useless Bay Colony, this spacious three-story home offers the perfect setting for family adventures. The quiet neighborhood is ideal for kids to ride bikes or scooters, take leisurely walks, and explore the stunning Pacific Northwest. Double Bluff Beach is just half a mile away, inviting you to enjoy sandy shores and shallow tides. Main Floor: Bright and Inviting Step into an airy living room with soaring ceilings and abundant natural light. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, complemented by three inviting dining spaces—indoors, on the front deck, and on the back deck—perfect for entertaining. A half-bath and laundry room add to the convenience. Outdoor Spaces: Coastal Serenity Relax on the spacious front deck, where a cozy couch and armchairs surround a fire table—ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The outdoor dining table boasts partial ocean views, with Mt. Rainier perfectly framed between the homes ahead. The tranquil back deck overlooks vast open fields and marshes, teeming with wildlife. Deer Lagoon is a breathtaking natural sanctuary, home to shimmering waters, lush woodlands, and over 211 species of birds—listen to their calls as you soak in the scenery. Upper Floor: Stunning Views & Comfort The master suite offers a king-sized bed and a spectacular view of the sea and Mt. Rainier (when she's out). Watch cruise ships, tankers, and yachts drift along the shipping lane, heading toward the Pacific Ocean. Lower Floor: Cozy & Entertaining Downstairs, two welcoming bedrooms provide restful retreats, while the TV room offers a comfortable couch for movie nights, board games, puzzles, and even a Nintendo Wii—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Beach Gear Provided for Your Adventures Make the most of your coastal getaway with beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, a transport cart, a kite, a cooler, kayaks, and an inflatable boat—everything you need for seaside fun. Guest access Enjoy the entire house (save for some closets) and property during your stay. We have an easy door code to let yourself in. Ample parking in driveway. We know the beach is a Whidbey Island highlight, and we want you to enjoy it to the fullest! There are several wonderful public access points just a short walk or drive away, including Double Bluff Beach, Robinson Beach County Park, and Maxwelton Beach/Dave Mackie Park – Clinton Beach. While there’s a nearby pathway just three homes down, it’s part of a private community and reserved for neighborhood residents and their personal guests—unfortunately, not for vacation rentals. To maintain our strong relationships in the community, we kindly request that you use the nearby public entrance instead. It’s well worth the stroll!
