Any evidence of a pet found on the premises will result in an immediate $300 fine. This includes bringing a pet into the cabin, onto the deck, or anywhere else on the property. 🐻 Important Wildlife & Bear Caution 🐻 Please be aware that our cabin is located in a beautiful mountain environment where Black Bear activity is common, especially after dark and during the early morning hours. For your safety and to protect our local wildlife, please follow these crucial precautions: Outdoor Precautions NEVER leave food or scented items outside. This includes garbage, pet food, coolers, and even empty food wrappers. Secure Trash: Place all trash in the designated receptacle immediately. Do not leave bags next to bins. Clean Grills: If you use the outdoor grill, please clean it thoroughly immediately after use. Indoor & Vehicle Precautions Secure Scented Items Inside: When leaving the cabin, ensure all windows and doors are fully closed and locked. Vehicles are NOT Safe Storage: Bears can and will break into vehicles if they smell food. Never leave any food, scented toiletries (like toothpaste or deodorant), garbage, or coolers inside your car, even if the doors are locked. All food must be stored inside the cabin. Thank you for helping us keep our cabin, community, and the bears safe! Failure to follow these guidelines can result in property damage.
