This private room is a great space in our family home. Private bathroom, full kitchen access including coffee, laundry, very easy street parking in front of the house, and more. This is a great launching point for visiting the area. If you need a car during your visit, you can rent ours through our listing on Getaround. Rent by the hour or longer, and the best part is that the car is already parked in the driveway for you. The space Clapboard walls and painted wood floors give your room a hint of days long gone. Rustic shelves made of wood and iron pipe bring in a modern-meets-rustic look, but look right at home with the antique secretary and iron bed. Nice, clean sheets on a firm, full-sized mattress ensure a good night's sleep is in your future. There is a space to hang your clothes, as well as drawers to keep everything else tidy. Our home was built in 1908, and still features many original architectural interests. Your room is at the back of the house so you have little to no street noise and can also separate yourself from the rest of the house if you desire. Your room shares a wall with our son's room. Despite the listing title, the chicken's won't actually wake you up in the morning! You may request to add 1 additional guest (3 guests total) who would have access to the full size sofa bed in the adjoining "pass-through" room. Guest access In addition to your room, you will have access to a large and newly built kitchen, a brand new bathroom with tub and shower, our spacious dining room, living room, new laundry equipment, backyard space, and wifi. During your stay We can interact as much or as little as you want. You can set the tone and we'll follow your lead. We do have two small children, so we have a busy, active household! We try to keep the craziness contained to the front of the house, but if you are looking for quiet and boring, our house is probably not for you. Other things to note We are extremely LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) friendly, and you should be too!
