The apartment is located above the fountain city of Gerolstein in an excellent location. From the property, you have a great view of the Dolomite rocks. The cliffs are deposits of a sea that covered the Gerolstein region 380 million years ago. Particularly inviting is the terrace with seating, where you can relax and enjoy the view – ideal for breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine in the evening. The ninth stage of the Eifelsteig ends in Gerolstein after hiking from Hillesheim. From our vacation home, it is particularly convenient to continue the tenth stage of the Eifelsteig from Gerolstein to Daun. Our accommodation is designed in a minimalist style and, together with the sauna, offers the ideal opportunity to recharge your batteries. The castle ruins of Löwenburg are within walking distance. The castle was destroyed in 1691. An 11-meter-high shield wall is still reminiscent of the medieval castle. The castle ruins are accessible all year round and offer a magnificent view over Gerolstein. Other highlights include the Pelmer Kasselburg. There is a very well-preserved castle with birds of prey and wolves. In the Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park, there is the possibility to take an 8-kilometer safari tour with your own car.
