Welcome to "Nature’s Peak Wayanad", our Scandinavian-style glass cabin on a private farm with a plunge pool. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom property includes a fully air-conditioned main cabin (2 bedrooms, living room & 1 common bathroom), plus a separate air-conditioned outhouse 20 ft away with a king bed and private bathroom. Enjoy a private viewpoint hike and home-cooked meals by our caretaker family (extra cost). The entire space is exclusively yours. The space PLEASE READ THIS SECTION BEFORE BOOKING: To ensure your stay meets expectations, we believe in being completely transparent about the property and its surroundings: 1. Bedroom & Bathroom Layout The main cabin features two air-conditioned bedrooms and one shared bathroom. A third air-conditioned bedroom and second bathroom are located in a separate outhouse approximately 20 feet from the main cabin. 2. Power Supply & Backup As with many nature retreats in Wayanad, occasional power outages and voltage fluctuations can occur, particularly during peak demand periods. We provide an inverter backup that supports lights, fans, Wi-Fi, and TV. Please note that air conditioners and geysers will not function during power outages. 3. Surroundings The property is surrounded by lush greenery and is generally very peaceful. There may occasionally be construction activity on neighboring land, although it is typically minimal and unlikely to impact your stay. 4. Living Amidst Nature Being located within a natural setting, it is common to encounter insects and small bugs despite our regular cleaning and pest-control efforts. To ensure maximum comfort, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed when not in use, especially during the evenings and at night. A second bathroom is available in the outhouse. (20 feet from the main cabin) Outhouse/3rd Bedroom ( Air Conditioned and Access available if booking for 5 guests+): - King-size bed - Attached private bathroom - Outhouse is 20 feet from the main cabin Kitchen: - Modular setup with 3-burner gas cooktop - Microwave, refrigerator, toaster, mixer grinder and Airfryer - Fully stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and glassware Espresso & Cappuccino Coffee Corner: -DeLonghi Espresso Coffee Machine for an immersive coffee-making experience -Fresh coffee beans and grinder provided Drinking Water: -Aquaguard UV + RO water purifier installed in the kitchen cabinet for clean drinking water -Purifier is regularly serviced to ensure safe, pure water at all times -Bottled mineral water available upon request from the caretaker at an additional cost Work Desk (mesh router): - High-speed stable Wi-Fi >150 Mbps - Dedicated workspace with monitor, keyboard, mouse (You need to connect to your laptop) - Ergonomic chair Private Plunge Pool: - Size: 5m x 2.5m | Depth: 5 ft - Daily cleaning, high hygiene standards - Pool rules: No diving, no infants, children must be supervised Outdoor Dining & Patio seating Food & Dining Options: - Fully equipped kitchen for self-cooking - Caretaker can help source ingredients if you decide to cook (nominal fee) - Optional homely meals from in-house menu (extra cost/made fresh to order) - Restaurant delivery available (While we dont have Swiggy or Zomato, we have a couple of small restaurants nearby and our caretaker can bring food that you order) Parking: - Covered Parking for 1 car, additional cars can be parked in the property (not covered though) EV Charging Available A dedicated 20A power outlet (Approximate charging power: 3.3–4.6 kW) is available at the parking area for electric vehicle charging. Guests can charge their EVs using their own portable charger. Suitable for overnight charging and compatible with most EVs. Viewpoint Trail: A short but steep hike within the property leads to a stunning viewpoint with uninterrupted views of Wayanad’s landscape. Please supervise children, as the steps can be uneven. We provide a couple of camping chairs at the top, and recommend carrying water bottles and a flask with tea or coffee to fully enjoy the serene setting amidst lush greenery. Guest access Guests have full private access to the entire property, surrounded by lush areca plants, coconut trees, palm trees, and a variety of other trees. A steep trail within the property leads to a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the Wayanad landscape, with the land sharing its boundary with a reserve forest. The climb is best suited for those with reasonable physical fitness, and children should be supervised. Other things to note A Few Things to Note During Your Stay Power & Connectivity: Being in a small town, occasional power cuts are common. We have an inverter backup that supports lights, fans, and the TV for your comfort. Voltage fluctuations can also occur—we appreciate your patience and understanding. (Note - Geyser, refrigerator and air conditioner will not work during power outage) Surrounded by Nature: Set amidst lush greenery, our property is home to birds, deers, and other wild life. Naturally, some insects may be present despite daily cleaning. We kindly ask guests to keep doors and windows closed to minimize their entry. Sustainability: For longer stays, sheets and towels are refreshed every 4th day to reduce environmental impact. Extras & Experiences:  • Cab rentals, bonfire, night wildlife safaris, and BBQs can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.  • We can also recommend trusted Kerala Ayurvedic massage and wellness centers just 10 minutes from the villa. Security: The outdoor areas are monitored 24x7 by CCTV for your safety. Smoking: Strictly no smoking indoors, we are strict on this, if found smoking inside a fee of INR 10000 will be charged as cleaning and purification charges. Please use the balcony’s and outside sit-out area which have been equipped with Ashtrays. Decoration: Though we encourage people to celebrate special occasions in our beautiful villa, please refrain from using any sticking material like glue or tape on the walls for decoration.
