The guest house is quietly off the road to Playa Madera on a hillside overlooking the trees to SJDS. It is intended for two persons who can bring one or two additional children or adult persons. The proximity to the three beaches Marsella, Maderas, Majagual offers leisure and recreation for all tastes. Surfing, golfing, riding, swimming or just enjoying the peace and quiet. From your house you won't see the street to the beaches. There is no traffic around you. You may see the garden, the trees and from time to time the monkeys. Enjoy the wind, the sun and relax in the hammock or the rocking chair. The handmade wooden furniture from local workshops are made of heavy tropical wood. The bedroom has king size 2 x 2 meters. The sofa bed in the living room is possible to separate into two extra beds. We provide houses with high quality standard. The windows protect you from insects. The fan gives you fresh air even inside the room. Working at a small table with the laptop is possible. By need of more comfort please ask us. In the event of a power failure, a solar system provides noiseless energy supply. The garden is at guests' disposal, as far as walkable. Remember that we are here in the tropical forest. The street to the parking place is a little steep but accessible with a normal car. From the parking place until inside the house there is a little stairway with three steps. The rest is usable for a wheelchair. We as hosts live in the main house, but without permanent visual contact. We provide a privat atmosphere. Our guests enjoy the feeling to be nearby alone in the area when they are on the veranda or at the pool. From time to time the pool althought is used by us. We dont use camera for the security but there is an inhabited watchtower. Beaches: Playa Marsella - 10 minutes to walk, quiet and suitable for swimming. Local gastronomy: Rancho Marsella Restaurante Villa Mar and some others Beach Playa Maderas approx. 15 minutes to walk (a bit steep), excellent surfing possibilities with surfboard rental. Very popular with young people. Gastronomy: Tres Hermanos, Taco Loco, Djungle Dream and others. Horse riding and golfing is offered in the neighborhood. Otherwise we are happy to give you a ride to the grocery store twice a week when we do our own shopping. A shuttle bus runs five times a day between San Juan del Sur and Playa Madera. On request, we also offer travel services depending on availability. There is a bus service to SJDS and Rivas every three kilometers. Pets are welcome, but please do not rely on furniture or beds. Doing some handwash in the house or in the washing area is possible.
