The owner lives on site, and is able to provide local knowledge and advice, in addition to arranging Tours, Reservations, Airport transportation, trips to Martinique, Kinesiology Health Treatments and Personal training all at a good rate. Laborie is a small village so currently the stores do not accept credit/debit cards so please come with some cash in ECD. There is an ATM at the mall which is a 4 minute bus ride away. The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes downhill and across a flat area all the way there, and up a fairly steep hill for about the last third of the journey on the way back. Don't feel like walking? With just a short 4 minute walk from the house to the (gas station) at La Croix, a bus will take you to Laborie beach in only 3 minutes. So please check out the temperature and weather, for the time of year you plan to visit. If needed bring a hat. A small lightweight rucksack will also prove invaluable! If you plan to bathe at the Sulphur Springs, please bring a dark coloured towel and bathing suit to avoid staining.
