Our place is perfect for the adventurous, wine and food lovers, or just folks looking for new experiences in this scenic region of Argentina. The property is a working vineyard extending more than 10 acres beyond the 100 year old adobe construction, surrounded by lush gardens and fruit trees. Guests can observe the seasonal changes in the vines during their stay, take long walks down country lanes or simply relax around the pool under the trees. This unit is available from October until the end of May to enjoy spring, summer and fall in Argentina. Guests share use of the large swimming pool in the adjacent 2500m2 gardens and have secure covered parking available. The apartment entrance is covered with a ramada facing the orchard with outdoor furniture, a personal outdoor grill and a small private garden. We are generally at our vineyard for spring, summer and fall, closing up the units over the winter months of June, July and August. We are happy to share information of our favorite places in San Rafael for dining and shopping and to recommend interesting excursions and activities throughout the region. Our daily farm workers are friendly, and manage all upkeep of the swimming pool and gardens, as well as the vineyard. Our area is famous in all of Argentina for its wine production, regional cuisine and leisure activities. Within a 20 minute drive of the vineyard, guests can white water raft on the Atuel River, fish in various lakes, visit the Andes mountains just 2 hours away, hike, bike, zip line and hang glide. Horseback trips can be easily arranged and less than 1 km from the property there is a beautiful country club for golf and tennis. For the less adventurous, tour companies provide excursions to various scenic and cultural areas. While renting a car is advantageous for visitors to enjoy the area, our vineyard is just 500 meters from the main auto route where local buses pass every hour to and from San Rafael, just 20 minutes away.
