Grizzly Pines

Description

Grizzly Pines The space The very definition of serene, this historic Jay cabin has been completely renovated - effortlessly blending modern comfort with old-school charm. With its high ceilings, warm wood finishes, and open layout, your time spent inside is guaranteed to be cozy and comfortable. Prepare a delicious meal with the kitchen's live edge wood countertops and stainless steel appliances. When it's time to eat, gather around the breakfast bar, or dine in front of the picturesque front window, the choice is yours. When you aren't tuned into your favorite show on the living room's leather sofa, head for the sizable bedroom adorned with high-quality linens and another TV. The bedroom's electric fireplace keeps you warm on chilly nights, whereas the cabin's high-speed internet keeps you connected to the outside world. A true focal point of the cabin is its spectacular outdoor space. Follow the stone wall down to the pond where you can view waterfowl and other wildlife as they greet each morning with their serene calls. Both the sunrise and sunset views here are unforgettable as they fall over Jay Peak and the surrounding mountains. Within 16 miles of your retreat, visit Big Falls State Park, Jay Peak Resort, Pump House Indoor Waterpark, Jay State Forest, and Owl's Head Golf Club. Additionally, right across the street, enjoy having easy access to Vast Trail. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The wood stove is not for guest use. The shed is not for guest use. This home is not equipped with air-conditioning. Guest access Enter your access code on the keypad at the front door. A green light will flash when the code is accepted. If the light flashes red, wait 5 seconds for the lock to reset and try again. After the green light, rotate the deadbolt under the keypad away from the door frame, then open the door. When you leave, press the Schlage button on the keypad, rotate the deadbolt toward the door frame to engage it, and make sure the door is fully closed and latched - it does not lock automatically. Other things to note A water cooler is located just outside the kitchen in the entryway - the well water here has a high iron content and tastes better from the cooler. A fire extinguisher is in the front foyer's far right corner on the floor. A first aid kit is in the bathroom behind the lower left door of the sink vanity. There are outdoor security cameras on the property for safety and wildlife observation, located in the back yard and on the driveway.
