Wonderful gardens surround the courtyard as well as other locations throughout the property. Cyclists, fishermen and women, hikers, hunters, shoppers, and event-goers find this boutique hotel located in a beautiful bluff country setting to be a unique gem in southeastern Minnesota. The space Our standard rooms are some of the most spacious in the area and are appointed with two queen beds, streaming TV, microwave, refrigerator, in-room coffee maker with coffee. Our accommodations include towels, soaps, shampoo, and access to other amenities and incidentals should you need them. There is lots to experience here, you'll find garden and river views to the west, with park and bluff views to the north of the property. Wildlife abound in the area with great access to miles and miles of bike trails, river recreation, birding and bluff climbing around. Guest access Guests can access the courtyard with tables, chairs and umbrellas. The gazebo is a nice spot to view the river and take in wildlife, while the fire pit is a nice place to warm up as nights get cool. Guests can also use their unique room code to access the lounge for coffee and muffins in the morning, or access the bike shed for those who are storing bikes during their stay. Smokers are welcome to use the fire station property next door as we are a smoke-free property. Other things to note - The Green Gables Inn property is a non-smoking property - No bikes are allowed in rooms.
