The Lobster Room Hele Bay, Ilfracombe. Beach Coast

You'll be staying in a lovely guest room in our own home, by the sea, and have sole use of our main bathroom. It is about 50 steps to the beach and we are right on the South West Coast path. Breakfast is continental style including yogurt, fruit, croissant, bread/toast and jams, cereal, tea/coffee & juice. Guests are welcome to use our kitchen to make hot/cold drinks and use the fridge. We live here with our 2yr old Aussie dog Millie, and have chickens & ducks in our back garden. Non-smoking. The space You'll sleep in what we call 'The Lobster Room' which will become obvious once you're in, as there is a stained glass window featuring lobsters. Shaun is a part-time lobster fisherman keeping up a tradition in the family history. He is 7th generation that we know of to live in the cottage. Guest access As well as the Lobster Room, you'll have your own private use of our main bathroom. There are 12 steps from the ground floor to get upstairs (bedroom and bathroom) and there is a step down into the bedroom. You can use our kitchen to make hot and cold drinks and eat breakfast but cooking facilities for lunch/evening meals are not available. In finer weather we have some seating outside on a small patio area. During your stay We live in the house and will be in and out a fair bit as we have poultry and sheep to look after as well as work. Other things to note Millie, our Aussie dog has full access to the ground floor. She is not allowed upstairs which is where your bedroom and the main bathroom are located. Our home is no smoking and no vaping.
